A Study on Migration in Sudan Using Geographic Information Systems Technology

Abstract Migration between countries is not a fresh problem; it has occurred since the dawn of time, but little research been conducted on it, particularly by employing effective technologies such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS). As result, purpose this paper was to investigate migration Sudanese other and vice versa, well students higher education from Sudan countries. To study all this, ArcGIS 10.8 program used, in inserted created relevant data shapefiles attribute data. The Add XY Coordinates, Line, Time Slider tools were also used. lines showing 2015 drawn based nine most prominent for each, video an interactive time map illustrating students’ fifteen foreign 1998 created.
